In philosophy, the Law of Proportionate Causality teaches that a cause can’t give what it doesn’t have. If God is pure goodness, pure light, absolute simplicity, and without lack — then God cannot create evil, sin, or imperfection.

So where does evil come from?
As Plotinus and Aquinas explain — it doesn't “exist” on its own.

Just as darkness is the absence of light, and cold is the absence of heat, evil is simply the absence of good.

This means that:

• There was no “Fall” of creation
• God didn’t mess up
• You were never separate from the Divine

It was the perception of duality — not actual separation — that created the illusion of sin and suffering.

This shift from ex nihilo (creation out of nothing) to emanation (creation as God's outpouring of Self) changes everything:

• You are not flawed by nature.
• You are an emanation of Divine Perfection.
• Your soul is evolving toward the full realization of your Higher Self — not trying to escape a fallen state.
