Peace Be With You Reader, Most people approach the spiritual path as a quest for something higher, whether it’s a higher perspective, a higher frequency, or a higher state of being. But what if it’s not about reaching for more? You are not the ego. When someone first joins the spiritual world, there is a common belief that you are becoming something new, adding new layers to who you already are. But that's a lie. That's just the ego wanting to play spiritual dress up. The true spiritual work is not an addition; it's a journey of minuses. It’s much more about unlearning, especially unlearning separation. You are releasing what no longer serves you and coming back to the core of who and what you truly are. The awareness watching. The love radiating. In summary, oneness/unity isn’t an achievement to strive for. It’s a reality that’s always present, revealed when we let go of the belief that we’re separate from everything else. We realize Oneness not by attaining it, but by surrendering. This means releasing resistance, letting go of the old stories, and laying down the ego’s habit of dividing and comparing. It’s about affirming, even in small ways, our unity with God and our loving relationship with all of existence. Every body, every insect, and every plant is animated by a single, wondrous power. When you can pause and feel that awe… and then include yourself by saying, “And so am I. I am also animated by the power of God,” you begin this process of unlearning separation and remembering the truth of Oneness. If this resonates, you’re going to love what’s coming next week. |
